Bill Joos – Principal
Go To Market Consulting

Bill Joos is the Principal of Go To Market Consulting, based in Palo Alto. He works with early stage startups, venture capital firms and their portfolio clients. Joos was a venture partner for six years at Garage Technology Ventures, an early stage venture capital firm that he co-founded with Guy Kawasaki. His reputation at Garage and now at his consulting practice is that he provides clients with effective, hands-on, action-oriented strategic and tactical mentoring and coaching. He has held sales and marketing positions with a variety of companies, including IBM and Apple Computer.

Donna Adams
Owner & Manager
Winzerwald Winery

A winery owner and manager, certified community planner, professional wine judge, certified grant writer, former Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitor’s Bureau director and life-long wine lover, Ms. Adams brings a host of business, community and tourism planning to her post as Marketing and Operations Manager at Winzerwald Winery.

Ms. Adams serves on the Board of the Indiana Winegrowers Guild and Indiana Uplands Wine Trail and along with her Master’s Degree in Urban Planning boasts certificates in Enology (wine-making) and Viticulture (grape-growing) from the Heartland Wine School . She and her husband create award-winning wines at their German-style winery along I-64 in Perry County, Indiana including Best of Show at the 2008 Newburgh Wine Festival for their Cherry Red, and Best Fruit Wine at the 2008 Story Inn Wine Fair for their Blueberry as well as over 100 gold, silver and bronze medals at National and International wine competitions.


Brooke Pyne

IEDC SBIR Initiative

Brooke joined the IEDC team in May of 2006 as the Director of Indiana’s “New” SBIR Initiative. She brings more than 6 years SBIR/STTR experience to the IEDC as well as a wealth of program knowledge. Prior to joining the IEDC, she had spent several years as an SBIR program Coordinator within the Department of Defense. At the IEDC Brooke leads Indiana ’s SBIR/STTR Initiative, a program designed to increase Indiana ’s participation in the program. Since the creation of the Initiative and with Brooke’s leadership, Indiana has positioned itself as an up and coming SBIR/STTR forerunner.

 

Jeremy Hill

Jeremy Hill is an attorney in the Business Services Group at Bingham McHale LLP, chairing its Emerging Business industry team.  He assists clients with a range of legal services, concentrating his practice in business and corporate transactions, business organization and securities law compliance.  He received his B.S. in Accounting, Honors at Highest Distinction, from Indiana University, in 1996, and his J.D., magna cum laude, from the Indiana University School of Law-Bloomington, in 1999.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Techpoint, the Executive Council of the Business Law Section of the Indianapolis Bar Association and the Advisory board for the St. Francis Hospice House.

Kim Howard is a native of Indianapolis. She received her undergraduate degree in Business from Butler University and M.S. in Psychology from the University of Evansville. Kim’s background is in healthcare management. She worked for Deaconess Hospital as the Manager of Physician Services, and the Family Practice Residency. After 15 years in healthcare, she moved to the financial sector and worked as a Project Manager for American General Financial Services. In 2005, she assumed the position of Regional Director, S.W. Indiana Small Business Development Center and VP, Economic Development for the Chamber of Commerce of S.W. IN. She is married and the mother of two children, ages 16 and 12.

She has been a volunteer with S.W. IN YMCA, United Way of S.W. Indiana and Habitat for Humanity. She is a board member of the Tri-State World Trade Network, an Advisory Board member for the Engineer our Future initiative, Vice-President Brownfields Corporation Board, a member of the Workforce, Innovation and Regional Economic Development (WIRED) implementation team and a member of the Evansville Sister City Organization.

 

Eric Kehl

Eric Kehl has been in commercial banking for over 12-years.  He currently serves as the Executive Vice President of First State Bank a Division of German Amercian Bancorp in Tell City, IN .  He graduated from Indiana University with a BS and MBA.  He has taught numerous banking and business classes at Ivy Tech Community College as well as Small Business seminars for the local Chamber of Commerce.  He currently resides in Tell City, IN with his wife and three kids.

As a business owner and entrepreneur, Jonathan has had over 10 years of experience in web development and Internet marketing. He enjoys and specializes in putting the power of the Internet into the hands of businesses and showing that the Internet, far from being "just another expense", can be an invaluable and indispensable key to business success.

Dan Fritch

Dan Fritch utilizes the core values of Matrix Integration in his daily life. He feels that living and working by the values of respect, accountability, integrity, honesty and teamwork only make the company he is devoted to stronger, as well as his life more fulfilling. Mr. Fritch founded Commsound Telecommunications in 1980, which merged with the Computer Center to form Matrix Integration in 1997. Mr. Fritch is currently vice-president of Matrix Integration and is proud and energetic to pronounce its vision of being the preferred integrated technology solution provider for its employees, clients and business partners through profitable, responsible growth. It is through this vision that he enthusiastically works to maintain client satisfaction.

Mr. Fritch, along with his wife Sara, reside in Jasper, Indiana . He enjoys spending time with his wife, three sons and his two grandchildren. Mr. Fritch is actively involved in the Boy Scouts of America, St. Joseph Catholic Church as well as the Bosco youth group.

 

Bret Voelkel

Air Ride Technologies

Bret Voelkel is the owner of Air Ride Technologies in Jasper, In. After 10 years prior experience with other companies within the racing and hotrod industry, he started Air Ride Technologies in 1996 and  has guided it to a level of 40 employees that design, manufacture, and ship air suspension components all over the world. Bret has developed several unique patented products, and has also developed a vertically integrated sales and marketing process that includes wholesale distributers, dealers, website sales and direct-to-consumer retail sales. Being a hotrodder himself allows him to envision what the customer will respond to in product style, quality, service, price and marketing.

Bret and his wife Sharon have lived in the Jasper area all their lives with their children Andy and Sara.

 

Jeff Wilmes
Partner

Jeff’s primary experience is in taxation of manufacturing and distribution companies and construction and real estate companies with more than 20 years in public accounting. He is a team member for construction/manufacturing and distribution of the Kentucky and southern Indiana offices of BKD.

He assists in numerous reorganizations designed to minimize federal and state income taxes. Jeff also has worked extensively with mergers and acquisitions, owner succession, estate tax minimization, partnership tax matters, inventory issues and multi-state income tax issues.

Jeff is an annual participant in the CCH Tax Planning Forum for Partnerships, LLCs and S Corporations. He has been a speaker for the Moores Rowland Construction Conference.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Indiana CPA Society. Jeff also is a current member of the University of Southern Indiana Accounting Circle-Curriculum Committee and past director and treasurer of the Evansville Downtown Civilian Club. He is a former board member and a past chairman of the Allocation Committee of the United Way of Southwestern Indiana . He also is a former treasurer and board member of Center City Corporation.

Jeff graduated in 1981 summa cum laude from the University of Southern Indiana , Evansville , with a B.S. degree in accounting.
